The vision.
All my life I’ve been fascinated by the natural world. Whether it be stones, plants, wildlife, or all things under the sea. I've always found awe and inspiration in the outdoors.
I draw heavy inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of “wabi sabi” which recognises beauty in the imperfect, the flawed, and the irregular.
I want my work to represent the fact that just because something hasn’t been cut and polished to the societal standard, doesn’t make it any less perfect. We've all got our flaws, but that doesn't mean we can’t embrace and celebrate them!
